The Daily Sydney

Sydney news, every day

Editorial standards

How The Daily Sydney reports, sources, and corrects its journalism.

The Daily Sydney publishes AI-generated local news compiled from public event listings, government announcements, and verified public sources. Our editorial guidelines prohibit the automated generation of crime, politics, and business coverage without human review.

Sourcing and verification

Factual events and stories are sourced from verified public sources only. We link to original sources in every article and summarise rather than republish third-party copy. Where artificial intelligence has been used to help compile a story, this is disclosed on the article page and the The Daily Sydney editorial desk remains responsible for the content.

AI disclosure

An AI disclosure notice appears on all generated content. Articles are bylined to the publication or desk (e.g., “The Daily Sydney”), not to invented human authors. We do not use fake personas or fabricated bios.

Imagery

We use real photographs that we own, licence, or are entitled to republish, with appropriate credit. We do not publish AI-generated imagery.

Comments

We do not host public comments at launch. Tips and feedback can be sent via our contact page.

Corrections policy

If we get something wrong we will correct it promptly, mark the article as updated, and note the correction at the bottom of the story. To request a correction, contact us via https://dailysydney.com.au/contact.
